Chapter 70

• As soon as the bell goes off, detention class was over for the day. I wasn't able to comprehend some of her words because most of the talking Professor Star did was in parables. I found it hard to grasp. Not to talk of the way she stared at everyone intently like they had all committed an offense. At some minutes, she would say something to scare all of us. Throughout the class, Jane was not present.
• I was able to get close to Casey. We exchanged contact. Alexia did the same. She has good vibes not to talk of the way she lectured us silently about Professor. I stood up quietly and zipped my bag. I flung it over my shoulder. Alexia and Casey did the same. Alexia led the way while I and Casey followed. When we got to the entrance and were about to leave, Professor Star's voice stopped us.
• "You can all go except the black, straight hair." Immediately after she said that we all froze on the spot and turned to look at her. She was sitting and leaning on her chair. I turned back to check Alexia and Casey's hair then I realized I was the only one with black, straight hair. Alexia's hair was rather curly and brown while Casey had dyed her hair purple.
