Chapter 5

• DONNA'S POV
• Jude walked closer and the guy didn't even move an inch from my desk.
• "Oh! it's little brother protecting sister" He joked but Jude didn't find it funny.
• "Get your ass off her desk!" He declared again but the guy just shrugged and stood up.
• I thought they were going to fight or something but I was thrown in darkness when they both laughed and did a friendship handshake.
• "That was intense man!" the guy laughed.
• "Says someone that missed school for a week" Jude replied and they both walked away talking about some random stuffs.
• "Damn! she is beautiful" I heard the guy complimenting me.
• "Shut up!" Jude shunned him off and they both laughed again.
• "And who was that?" I turned to Alexia immediately.
• "He is Mark from the basketball team and Jude best buddy. He hadn't been in school for a week and suddenly showed up immediately he had there is a new chick in the school, I think he go tired of f**king the same girls everytime" She shrugged.
• "What!, he looks like a simp" I tried not to laugh.
• "I don't think you would be saying that after knowing all amazing things he is capable of later" She winked at me, and I wowed at my wild imagination.
• The bell ranged and everyone rushed out with their bags. I checked my schedules and realized it time for basketball section.
• I've always been interested in sport but is that the first thing they do in school?.
• "Come with me, you don't have to change since we won't be playing" Alexia grabbed my hands and we both walked out of the class.
• "But why?" I asked.
• "Don't tell me you are interested in sport too" She arched her brows at me.
• "Of course, I love basketball" I replied.
• "And you are short" She chuckled and I frowned.
• "It's not funny!" I huffed.
• "Sorry! my bad" She said, and couldn't help but laugh again.
• I just ignored her sarcastic behavior and we walked to the basketball court. We picked a seat at the top so I can see clearly and Alexia got us both a drink and snacks.
• "I'm starving!" I munched on it instantly, remembering how Jude had starved me this morning.
• "Hey beautiful" Mark walked up to us, and my jaws dropped when I saw him in his jersey.
• He looked so hot and the band that stopped his hair from falling almost made me fall hard for him.
• "Can you keep this for me till after the game?" He asked, and I just stared at him like a dumbass.
• Alexia bailed me out and nodded, he dropped his bag with us and jogged away after winking at me.
• "What the hell was that?" Alexia questioned.
• "He is cute" I muttered and she laughed.
• "Better don't let Jude hear that from you" She squeaked.
• I didn't understand what she meant by that until I felt something hit my head do hard.
• "What the hell!" I cussed, and my eye met Jude who looked unbothered.
• "Keep that for me, since you are now good at helping guys keep stuffs" He scoffed, and jogged away.
• My fist clenched and I had the urge to throw his bag at him back but I dared not.
• "You are so lucky" Alexia commented, and I felt like pulling out her hair.
• What so lucky about having a jerk like Jude in my life. He is an annoying spoilt rich kid, the only thing he knows how to do is flirt, annoyed me and starved me for waking up so late like he is my mother!.
• Speaking of my mother, I won't be chanced to meet her till Friday and that's a day after tomorrow. I still haven't replied Tim message from last night and I don't plan on doing that anytime soon either.
• The only person I'm concerned about his my father who I loved and cared so much about.
• "And here is the bitch everyone is talking about!" Jane walked in and sat right beside me with her so called maniac Alexia warned me about.
• SETTING: Toronto, Canada
• PRISCILLA POV
• Mr. Jacob and I had just arrived from a gallery event opening we were invited to. I had a long day and already exhausted.
• "I think we can return back home first thing tomorrow morning and I don't think it's actually polite to leave her hanging with just Jude" Jacob said.
• Jacob is the man I fell in love with after I had left my daughter's father. He was so kind and was the only one there for me when I was going through a tough time in my life. Years later, he introduced me to his family and I found out he had a son too who had lost his mother to a plane crash.
• I did everything to satisfy Jude so he wouldn't see me as a gold digger who is just after his father wealth but he was too difficult and that saddened so I followed Jacob on any business trip to represent him well and since then I don really have to stay home with him.
• I was in a business meeting when I got a text from Gina that her brother, my ex- husband is in coma and she couldn't nurse my daughter alone. That broke my heart but I waited for the meeting to be rounded up and Jacob noticed my mood.
• I told him everything and he instantly asked Donna to move in with us and even when extreme to pay for my ex-husband hospital bills till he is out of coma. I was grateful but still haven't met Donna yet.
• I don't know how she would feel about me because I had abandoned her only few months after I gave birth to her.
• "That's a great idea, I would go shopping things for Jude today" I replied.
• "And Donna" He added, and I smiled.
• "Sure" I replied, he walked up to meet and kissed my forehead. I love this man so much.
