Chapter 26

• The silence in the car was so awkward. One would have thought they are doing it on purpose. The dinner we all had together at the hotel was okay. But that stepbrother of mine won't stop touching me during that time. It's either he was rubbing my thighs or he was trying to unbuckle my belt just to touch me.
• Mom tried to strike up a conversation with Jude and I was stunned when he replied her with respect and he was more polite than ever. Whoa, that's new. I wonder what made him change his mind. Because the jude I know, has the heart of a stone. So emotionless and mean. Cold and rude. That is the best way I can describe him but him suddenly becoming so sweet is suspicious.
