Chapter 53

Donald's P.O.V
She started her sentence but didn't finish it. She fainted and hasn't woken up yet. We tried everything and she still didn't respond. I'm worried but Liam is freaked out. He is speeding like a maniac to get to the hospital so that they can check her out and tell us what is wrong. We arrived and they took her to do some tests on her. We sat in the waiting room and worried crazily. They were taking so long and we weren't being told anything about what was happening and what they had found out yet. Liam started pacing the waiting room and I was just about ready to join him. I mean this could have been entirely my fault with the news I had given them all. We were going crazy with worry.
After about three hours, the doctor finally came out and said she only fainted but hit her head when she fell. They have just done some tests to make sure that the fall hadn't caused any lasting damage, but to be sure they want to keep her for observation overnight. She will be alright. Relief flooded my system to know that I wasn't responsible for her fainting and also that, as I had been told, her cancer hadn't returned again. I thanked the doctor and he said that we were welcome to go and sit with her. Liam jumped up and ran to the room the doctor said she was in. He was truly worried and wanted to see with his own eyes that she was genuinely okay.
