• Mum and auntie Anne went all out with the engagement party. There were people here who I had never met in my life and Alexia seemed just as confused as to who some of these people were. We decided that we would stay in our corner together to avoid any further confusion and weirdness from happening like earlier on. Mum, dad and Alexia's parents were chatting away with everyone while we were sitting there enjoying talking to each other and the few friends we had gotten invited to the party. We made plans to go out afterwards and have some fun on our own away from this party where we could properly celebrate our engagement with the people important to us.
