Chapter 47

• Mum decided and had chosen Harold over dad, which made me mad at first, but after the talk I had with dad and the fact that he seemed fine with it calmed me down a little, but I mean I never see him anymore these days, as he is most of the day and sometimes until very late at night at the office doing who knows what, because it is certainly not work stuff because I have been handling most of that again and I must say it does feel good to be back, even if it is only partly back.
• Having my darling little girl back was great. They stayed for about a week while the sale of their house was being finalized. Luke had seen the house and thought that it was the perfect one and had started the process of buying it before the wedding so that they could move in not long after the wedding. It was so romantic. He even wants to have some renovations done on the house but Lexi needs to decide this and, for this fact, she first needs to see the house.
• They both also decided that they really wanted to join the Jones incorporated family business and have started working there in their respective departments, with Lexi being in the interior design department because she has a knack for seeing what goes together and what doesn't, and Luke, in the building revamp and such department with him also doing a course in architecture as he has always loved it and if I must say so myself not to bad with it.
