Luke's P.O.V (Alexia's Boyfriend)
I get the feeling that she doesn't want me to meet her parents. Why I don't know, but after trying for the last six months she finally agreed to let me meet them. I knew about the dinner because my dad was going and I knew about the formal attire as that, is all that dad could talk about. His invite to be at a Jones-Watson family party. I arrived home and told my mom and dad I would be joining them tonight. They looked shocked to say the least, they always had to force me to go or drag me with them, but here I am telling them that I was going on my own free will. I would freak out too.
My parents know about me and Lexi and she has met them so many times when she has come over or in passing. Making it no problem for me to have a perfect gift for her ready on time for the party and her birthday. It is a beautiful diamond necklace that I had designed from scratch and one of its kind. We arrived and Lexi introduced me to her parents. Her mom was beautiful and her father looked as if he wanted to kill me. I should have expected that. She was his little girl and he was seeing me as a threat to his little girl.
