• The school day went by slowly. I could tell Ethan was exhausted, but every time I asked if he was okay, he would just smile at me and tell me he was fine. In history class, Mr. King kept calling on me to answer questions or ask what my opinion was on a subject. I noticed that he was staring at me most of the class period. It made me realize that Ethan, Jason, and Nick were right. He did have a thing for me. Most likely a crush.
• Ethan would glare at him or growl sometimes when Mr. King would look at me. I knew he wanted to rip his head off. I moved closer to Ethan and held his hand not wanting him to get into a fight. Ethan closed his eyes and tried to calm down but I knew he was still pissed. I was definitely going to stay away from Mr. King. I knew he was either trying to get on Ethan's bad side or he wanted to be with me. Whatever the reason for his actions I wasn't going to give him any reason to think I felt something for him.
