Sofia's Point of View
I sighed as I looked at myself in my bathroom mirror. I couldn't stop thinking about how the waitress poured water all over me because she was upset I was Ethan's Mate. I was sure she wouldn't be the only one who would try and do something to me out of jealousy. What worried me the most was that the females here were werewolves, and I was human. I knew I wasn't as strong as they were. There was no way I could beat them in a physical fight. I mean, they could turn into giant wolves.
There was no idea who would come after me if I accepted Ethan as my mate. Ethan said he would never let anyone hurt me, but he couldn't be with me all of the time. There would always be a chance that someone could harm me. I was mostly worried about Jane because I knew she hated me. I knew she was upset that I was Ethan's mate and not her. Ethan even said everyone thought they would be mates because she was the Beta's daughter. I knew Jane, and I was sure she would try to get me out of the pictures so that she could be with Ethan.
