Chapter 7 Extremely Perceptive
- Evelyn hurriedly tossed away her phone. "Evelyn, why are you here?" Jerry had a dark look in his eyes. Maura got out of the car and at first looked astonished, but then her expression turned smug. Maura pulled down her collar, exposing her previous marks, as if to aggravate the situation. Evelyn slapped Jerry hard across the face, ignoring her. "For my father, that is!" She hit Jerry once more as he stood there, stunned. "It was intended for me." "What the heck! What are you crazy about?!" He was taken aback. "You really are insane!" Evelyn gave him a stare, her fiery eyes showing her rage. "When my father was being probed, weren't all of your feelings fake? Do you really believe I'll ask to sleep with you? Not in your dreams!
- Herpes is not what I desire! Maura's expression hardened when she heard this. In her elegant high heels, she strode over and said, "Are you insulting me, bitch?" "Oh, you had to inquire?" Her lips twisted coldly. Must I call you a slut in front of you? "You" The Maura gave her a sneer. When she glanced at Jerry, she saw that he was enraged but had no intention of standing up for her. Blood was streaming from Evelyn's mouth corner when Maura smacked her across the face in a fit of wrath. Jerry was taken aback by Maura's violence because he had not anticipated it. "You've gone too far, Evelyn." Maura started crying. "Am I going too far?" Evelyn enquired. "The wrecker of homes is you! Be advised that "what goes around, comes around."
- Jerry was capable of cheating again if he could do it once. He would have other loves than Maura. Evelyn got up and walked out. Evelyn packed up her essentials and critical paperwork and left Hill Villa without turning around. At least she was escaping a terrible nightmare, if making a deal with Huston meant walking into a gorgeous trap. She was determined not to come back here, no matter what lay ahead. *** Evelyn pulled up to the gate of Royal Villa, which was much grander and wealthier than Hill Villa, at eight o'clock in the evening. The entire mountainside was taken up by the villa, which included gardens and swimming pools. Evelyn struggled to comprehend the enormity. Huston was a cunning business magnate, and it was an appropriate house. As she made her way from the gate to the villa's front door, she sensed terror starting to set in. She got up to inhale deeply several times.
