Chapter 20 The Woman In The Photo (1)

  • After the interview, when she was about to leave, she was stopped by a man in a white shirt. “Miss Shelton, I’m President Lloyd’s secretary, Sam. President Lloyd asked you to wait for him in the office.” He lowered his voice. She knew that it was inconvenient to talk here, so she did not hesitate and followed him to his office. However, Sam did not let her enter the front door. Instead, he went to his office first, opened the small door, and went straight through it to Huston’s office. She was very surprised. “You have such a secret passage?" The corner of Sam’s mouth twitched. “Just take it as a side door.” Sam poured her a glass of warm water and left. There was only Evelyn in the big office. After waiting for a long time and seeing that no one had come in, she went to his desk to see the book on it. Unexpectedly, she saw a photo frame next to the computer.
  • It was a photo from a long time ago, so the picture was not very clear. In the photo, the boy had a clean temperament, and the girl was smiling sweetly. The boy reached out to hold the girl’s shoulder in an intimate posture. If it weren’t for the fact that her expression didn’t change, she wouldn’t have been able to recognize the man in the photo. In her impression, he would not smile, but the smile in the photo was very beautiful. It was the kind of smile that came from the bottom of his heart. The iceberg melted, and it was warmer than spring. She couldn’t help but pick it up and look at it carefully. The girl next to him was very beautiful. She had long hair, big eyes, and a face only the size of a palm.
  • When they stood together, they were really a perfect match. At first, she just wanted to take a look, but as she looked at it, she had an indescribable feeling in her heart. “What are you doing?” A deep male voice suddenly came from behind. With a shake of her hand, the photo frame fell to the table with a loud sound. She panicked. “No, nothing.” The man walked up to her in a few steps, picked up the photo frame, and put it in the middle. Then he turned to look at her with displeasure in his eyes. “Who allowed you to move?” She swallowed unconsciously. “I didn’t mean to see it. It’s on the table."He didn’t want to pursue the matter, but when he heard her words, he subconsciously corrected her.
