Chapter 209: Nothing To Worry About Me

• As soon as Ethan was gone, Tom leaned forward, slapped Kylie across the face, and called her a bitch. Before she could even think to retaliate, Ethan grabbed Tom and threw him to the ground. He went mad when he saw that Tom hurt his wife. Apparently, he hadn't gone as far as he'd said that he was going. Instead, he'd hovered just outside the door to see how things would play out when he was gone.
• Ethan placed his shoe to Tom's neck and applied pressure. "How dare you hurt my woman? Are you seeking for death? I can't let you hurt her, not even any other person," he hissed.
• Kylie turned to look at Ethan and asked him, "What's wrong with people lately? How did I become the target for so many people's angst? I didn't do anything bad to anybody; why does it seem I did a terrible act?"
