• Much to Kylie's surprise, once Ethan had parked, he didn't get out of his car. It was unnerving. He just sat there, staring up at her up through his window. An hour past, and then another two, and then he drove away. Thinking of Ethan's sudden change, Kylie could not figure out what that was all about or what he had hidden from her. She wanted to hear his explanation if he exerted effort to coax her, but Ethan didn't do it; instead, he drove away.
