Chapter 121 The Stripper

  • Angel groaned as consciousness slowly returned to her. Her head throbbed like a relentless drum, her mouth was dry as sandpaper, and every muscle in her body ached. The soft, cool sheets beneath her felt unfamiliar, far too luxurious for her cramped little bed at Nonna’s villa. She opened her eyes slowly, blinking against the soft light filtering through the elegant curtains.
  • The room was massive, decorated in a modern yet opulent style. The walls were painted a deep charcoal gray, accented with golden trim that gleamed in the light. A crystal chandelier hung above, casting shimmering patterns across the pristine marble floor. The bed she was in was easily the size of three of her own, its plush duvet so soft it felt like a cloud against her skin.
  • Angel bolted upright, the movement sending a wave of dizziness crashing over her. She looked down and froze, her heart pounding. She was wearing nothing but an oversized white Armani t-shirt that barely covered her thighs. Her cheeks burned as panic set in.
