- Amara stared at herself in the mirror as she thought of what Lucian had said. She wanted to get out of her marriage but she wondered if another marriage was the answer.
- ‘It’ 's just for show, Amara.’ She cooled herself.
- She applied the final touches of her makeup, a small smile tugging at her lips when the door opened. She whipped her head in irritation, “I think you all need to learn to how to knock.”
