• Lucian was in a bad mood that his plan didn't work out. He knew he'd have to visit the warehouse again when they least expected him if he were to get any leads.
• Killian had another personal meeting and left with his car. Lucian was on his way back to the hotel and the thought of what he had planned for Amara, brought a smile to his face. Melting away every anger he was feeling.
• He knew Brandon had injured her heart and it would take time for her to fully accept him, but he looked forward to sweeping her off her feet. To Lucian, Amara was very special and he would do anything to make sure she was happy and smiling again. For him, the marriage went beyond the contract and sooner or later, he would tell her how he truly felt. He kept his feelings to himself because he didn't want to rush her, until she felt she was ready.
