• Amara had fully recovered and Lucian stayed by her side through it all. He worked from home to watch over her, which warmed Amara's broken heart.
• It was like he was slowly mending her broken pieces but she was still afraid. Selene's warning to be careful kept lingering in her mind as she wondered if the rumors about him were true.
