Chapter 36 The Evil Plot Continues

• It was seven a.m., and Charles was still sleeping peacefully on his bed when his small alarm clock started ringing for the third time. Stretching out his hand, he tapped the clock, and immediately it stopped ringing. With that, he used the blanket on the bed and covered himself properly before dozing off once again.
• A few minutes after he dozed off, his phone started ringing, jolting him up again. Sighing heavily, he took his phone and, with sleepy eyes, checked the caller ID, which was Adrian.
• Sighing heavily, he picked up the call and activated the loudspeaker before keeping the phone beside him on the bed.
