• On hearing that statement, Sarah immediately choked on the food she was eating, and without hesitating, she took the water on the table and gulped it down in order to calm herself down.
• The last time someone told her that he wanted her was six years ago, and the person who told her that was Xavier. In the case of Xavier, she loved it when he said that to her because it made her feel wanted and desired, but hearing it from Charles only got her enraged. To her, it was as if he was asking to do to her what Xavier had done to her some years ago.
