Chapter 127 Standing Out For Her

• It was a Tuesday morning. Sarah was supposed to meet up with a new client who she wanted to finalize a very important deal that will profit the company enormously. They were supposed to finalize the deal a week or two after her marriage with Charles, but since the marriage didn't take place anymore, she called the client and asked him if he would be able to come over during the week so that they could finalize the deal. Since the client was a little bit free, he told her that he would come over the following day, which is Tuesday.
• Walking into the company, Sarah went to her office and dropped her bag before taking all the necessary documents that were needed for the finalization of the deal, and with that, she started heading to the conference room where the meeting was going to take place. Getting into the conference room, she was surprised to see only Xavier and the secretary inside the conference room discussing with each other, but the client wasn't present.
• Seeing them, she immediately got angry, not because the client hadn't arrived yet but because of how Xavier and the secretary were busy talking and laughing. She knew she wasn't supposed to get angry because of that, but she just couldn't help it.
