Chapter 6 Wedding Part Two

• The wedding has been planned by the old man of the Anderson family and proceedings were running smoothly, Michelle was waiting for her father by the door. She was asking herself where her father was when she saw her stepmother coming towards her, she frowned.
• Mrs Richard had a gloomy face when she saw how beautiful Michelle was in the wedding dress. She hated the fact that this girl took after that woman's beauty, all men wished to be with that woman and now her child will also have a problem with the woman's child just like her. When she thought of the fact that she was making her marry an impotent man, she was pleased with herself. This was a perfect way of getting rid of her without killing her. She walked towards Michelle who was standing by the door. She sneered, then looked at him Michelle from head to toe.
• Michelle did not want to interact with her but she knew very well that this woman was the only person that could tell her where her father was. So she mastered some courage and asked "where is my father."
• "Michelle your father drank too much wine last night, he blacked out and cannot walk you down the aisle. Unfortunately I have always told myself that I have one child in this world whom I will walk with down the aisle. You are not my daughter and are not fit for me to break such a promise. You are a curse and an imbecile, I do not want to lose face because of you in this wealthy class." She walked into the chapel after speaking these harsh words.
• "Michelle you are definitely a strong young lady, you will not cry, not now not ever. If there is no one to walk you down the aisle then walk yourself." Those are the words she spoke to herself to give herself courage.
• Before she could take a step forward she heard a voice she has not heard for the past two years. She turned her head to the direction of the voice."Stinking brat were you really going to walk down the aisle without this old man? Do you want your in laws to think that you are not wanted in your family, once they have such thoughts they will never respect you. They need to know that you are the only heir in this family so they can have high level of respect for you. "
• "Grandpa" Michelle hugged her grandfather with joy, just as tears were about to stream down her face she heard the old say "Shhh don't you dare cry, you will ruin your make up and make enemies rejoice with your appearance."
• Michelle looked at her grandpa with awe and she had lots of questions in her mind and they all came in once, she did not know where to start with her questions. "Grandpa when did you wake up? How come I wasn't told about it? Who told you I was getting married today?"
• "stinking brat I wouldn't miss your wedding for anything in this world. I will walk you down the aisle. We will talk about the rest after you and my grandson in law get married"
• The old man looked at the housekeeper. The housekeeper opened the bag, took out a make up kit which also had a mirror in it and said "young miss fix yourself and brace yourself for this wonderful new life you are about to enter into."
• After tiding herself up the old man showed her a ring when he saw her surprised look he said "oh you want to disgrace our noble family by not providing your husband with a ring. That would be a topic that could last the whole year. When it is time for you to put it on him, the housekeeper will come give you the ring. I am actually surprised why you did not invite Jessica to come to the wedding and be the maid of honour?"
• "I did not think of that and it was short notice grandpa for me though,I was only told about the wedding two days back. Even though with them I can tell that it certainly looks like this was their plan all along. There is no way they could have organised a wedding dress that fits me so perfectly at such a short notice."
• "Oh my dear grandchild, there is a lot that you and your father do not know about this woman but I am glad that she is stupid enough not to see that she is slowly walking towards my trap."
• "Ah! Grandpa what are you talking about?" Michelle was too confused by the old man's words.
• "Girl right now, it is not time for me to tell you about this. Come let's go inside before your man loses his patience. He is not a patient man, that is one thing you should know about him but I do trust that he will take better care of you more than anyone in this world."
• "Grandpa you all say he is not a man who has patience yet you all want him to marry me. Do you guys hate me that much?"
• "Baby girl right now there is a lots you may not understand but very soon everything will be unfolded before you. Marrying him is definitely not a mistake my dear. This is the only man that will give you power to get back everything that belongs to you. Your mom worked so hard in her life so that you and your children will not be counted amongst the poor. You need to regain all that when you are alone the enemy will defeat you but with him by your side, they cannot. There is no man in your generation that is respected more than him in this country. You will be amongst the most powerful women in the country if you are by his side."
• "Grandpa what are you talking about? Didn't that woman sell everything my mom owned after marrying my father "
• "Oh baby girl there is no way she would have gotten hold of your mom's businesses. Your mom was a very clever woman, I hope you learn from her as things unfolds itself. Let us get in my dear, they are probably wondering what is taking so long."
