Chapter 34 Truth Was Told

Michelle did not know how to console him. She felt guilty for blaming him. Before she could do anything Daniel continued to say "I drove the car straight into the river. I do not know how to explain how i got out of that car but it was like there was an extra hand helping me swim to the shore. When I got there my assistant was already waiting with an ambulance. I passed out in front of him, when I woke up I was already in the hospital. I was told that it was a miracle that I survived."
He looked up at Michelle and said "I asked about your grandfather and I was told he was in a coma and no one was allowed to see him. I was happy to see him on the wedding day. Seeing him alive and smiling to me it meant that not only did he survive but it also meant that we will both work together to put those behind that terrible accident behind bars, there are lots of families that lost their loved ones and they have lots of questions that no one has ever answered. There is a lot I would love to share with you but if we continue to stay here not only will we put our lives in danger but all the people in the hotel will be implicated just like before and I do not want to live with such guilt again. It took me lots of effort to get over this and reliving it is not in my plans."
Only then did Michelle react and then she asked "should I pack our things?" She started panicking and she was scared.
