Chapter 16 I Promise To Love You

• In the study room Daniel could see that Michelle was shaking and for the first time in his life he did not know what he should do to make this girl trust her. The old man did tell him though that he should not rush anything, he should just let things flow and as time goes on they will grow in love so he says. He hopes the old man is right because the thing called "patience" is what he has never had.
• "Michelle I have never been a man that was good with words so please do forgive me if I will sound rude or harsh when saying something. We are husband and wife and I really wish we could get to know each other and be a real couple. Yes I do admit what both our families did was wrong. I was also forced to marry you just like you but I do not want to be a divorcee at such a young age. I have never accepted defeat in my life so I would not rush to divorce you without giving us a try. I would love for us to try this out before we conclude that it's a failure. I have never had a girlfriend before so I may not know how to behave or coax a girl. One thing I want is for both of us to be ourselves, don't try to be something you are not just to please me.. Be yourself tell me what you like and dislike and I will do the same, in that way we will both participate in making this relationship work."
• Michelle looked at him shocked, she did not think that this man will be like this. She thought her life here will be a living hell. She was ready to live a life that was the same as back at her father's house.
