Chapter 25
- The air was harsh and strangely nice on Christmas Morning of the 25th December. Looking across the dining room, it was filled with different delicacies, Hector forced himself not to keep smiling like a fool. Teresa had been smiling ever since she sat down on the table, not that she always frowned but something about her made her look different today.
- Her face had a wide grin placed at each corner of her lips. Hector's attention was diverted to those lips but he scrubbed them away from his thoughts when both his daughters came downstairs. “Happy Christmas Dad?” Maria let out as they hugged their dad tightly.
- “Happy Christmas Angels, ” Hector let out as he stood up to the Christmas tree so they could open the Christmas gift Santa had left for them. Maria knew that this gift was given to them by their dad but she had to put up a front to her sister Rose, she knew Rose notices nothing entirely.
