Chapter 16
- Weeks passed in a haze and it was already a month since Teresa started working for the Hidalgo's. Halloween was gone and Christmas was almost around the corner, Teresa wiped her sweaty forehead as she plumped on the kitchen stool.
- She moved to the parlor to notice Rose playing around with the neighbor's kid next door. She was glad that Sir Hector had given her another chance, she and Rose were back to how they were after she had begged Rose to forgive her for pushing her to the floor.
- Teresa could remember sternly how she was scolded by Sir Hector for acting in such a way in front of his kids. Hector had made it clear that his children were not used to rowdy behavior, She was very glad that she hadn't been fired.
