I totally understood Juniper's fear, Laila had the same. It's surprising how two people who never met worried for me in the same way. Carwyn's family have a great business running for them that will go on to serve generations if they continue on their part but they're always on the prowl to take from mine, they have this unending competition in their head that I'm still trying to discover the root of it because they're becoming a total nuisance.
"Alright, I won't" I tell her, giving her a kiss on her forehead. I know she has told me it's not my fault but I can't help but blame myself, she was already in one accident that caused her to lose her memories, I can't imagine the constant worry she must go through thinking she's missing something important, I can't imagine a life where I have no idea who Laila meant to me or my mother, a life where I can't recognize Valente's face, where all my adventures with Uncle Fabian was lost, crazy and all, a life where i don't know who my father is. It must be hard enough for her but then to be stuck with some stuck-up mafia member, she must hate herself and now she's getting bombed at his front door, fucking hell.
