Chapter 21 A Glitch In Memory

• I was hearing Gaia tell Mr. Omari she was pregnant but I wasn’t seeing any of them, it was like I was in a trance, I was standing on the stairs of some building, I have no idea where I am, someone else was telling another person she was pregnant and everyone was happy except me, I could feel the emotions, it was strong, I was angry, I was hurt and then I ran upstairs, is this a memory? I’m back in Mr. Omari’s living room, the lamp on the stool near Gaia is broken, she’s on the floor screaming, I’m taken back again, I’m running and screaming, someone is laughing behind me, I run into the road without looking and a trailer hits me, I’m thrown to the other side, Mr. Dakari’s face is what I see last. Another memory.
• “Excuse me” I say before running up the stairs into to my room, I just had a memory! I’ve never even had a flash before since I woke up, how did this happen? Is it because I was in a similar situation? But I’ve seen Mr. Dakari since I woke up, why didn’t I realise he was the last person I saw before I thought I was dying? Who were those people? Why was I hurt that she was announcing a pregnancy? Why did I feel cheated? I bury my head under my pillow annoyed, why am I only getting bits of my memory? I wish I could talk to someone about this, I wish Aviva was here with me, I miss her, I miss her so much, and why did we have to be separated? I’ve thought of asking Mr. Omari but I don’t think he’d know who bought her but I’ll just have to find a way to get to meet her.
