Chapter 36 - The Dagger
- I don't know if I was ready to face everything I had to face, I had never felt in such a big void as at that moment. It was a mix of emotions that I couldn't define clearly either: Fear, guilt, anger... One part of me deeply hated Eris at this moment and the other, however, wanted her safety, I wanted to be able to turn back time so I could avoid all this. somehow although certain things have no remedy. I would have given a lot not to be at this point but under the concept of the “ butterfly effect ” some things are necessary for others to happen, I want to believe that regardless of everything and my own desires, all this shit had been necessary.
- Eris accompanied me to look for all the cash, honestly I was quite afraid that we would not be able to access it but after they applied certain obstacles we managed to get it delivered to us, the monetary movement in my account so quickly was a bit strange and of such magnitude but apparently, after talking to the account from which the funds were deposited, they managed to achieve it. Did Fabrizio have so much power that everything was relatively easy? At this moment it didn't matter, the most relevant thing was that we already had the money for the damn debt.
- I just hoped that for once in Eris's life it would occur to her to use the two neurons she had left in her head and not end up acquiring another one, she didn't want the snowball to get bigger when she was barely able to contain this one.
