• "Open!" Carmencita muttered calmly and waited for Vicenta to open her mouth. When she finally did, the older woman raised the hot soup to her mouth and urged her to drink from it.
• "Careful!" Munika hissed and went closer to the bed. "You are to help her get better, not harm her"
• Carmencita didn't respond. She remained quiet and focused on Vicenta, making sure that she finished the hot soup. When she was done, she packed the plates and returned with her drugs.
