Chapter 107

• After taking her evening bath, Rosana put on her bathrobe and walked out to find Sergio in the room. She was startled because he wasn't there when she went into the bathroom. But she was appeased at the same time. Seeing him was enough to soothe her nerves even when he appeared lost in thoughts.
• Controlling her breath, Rosana walked further into the room and went to stand behind Sergio. This was her chance to speak with him and end the silent war she started. She needed him, missed him, and wanted nothing more than for him to look at her and wrap his strong arms around her. Above all, she wanted the war to end.
• "Sergio" She called out softly but got no response. He didn't even acknowledge her presence or glance in her direction and that hurt more than anything else. Was he mad at her? A sense of despair crept through her heart as she took a step closer to him. "What is going through your mind?"
