Chapter 31
- Leena ran back in for her jacket then out the front door. She couldn’t focus this morning because she was too excited. She was not as excited about the fair as she was about spending the day with Owen, she hadn’t seen him since Sunday, except at the short Wednesday night meeting. He was knee-deep in his writing, and she was determined to settle for phone calls and text messages when he took a break.
- She was almost to the Jeep when he stepped out. She jumped into his arms and devoured his mouth, showing him how much she’d missed him and how happy she was to see him.
- Turning his back to the audience in the Jeep, he buried his hands in her hair and held her still so he could taste her deeply. Gasping, he hugged her to him. “I feel missed.”
