Chapter 21
- Leena stared out the window, watching the rain fall as Owen’s Jeep headed up the lane. “Figures.” She hadn’t wanted to be stuck inside with him, she felt safer outside.
- She motioned him into the kitchen. “I was just making tea.”
- Owen grinned and carried a large bag into the kitchen. “Guess the weather decided your yard work could wait?”
