• The silent treatment was deafening. Ever since Draca took over my body two days ago and spoke with Lorena, she had been avoiding talking to me, looking at me, and worst of all, she wouldn't let me touch her. I wondered what could have happened between her and Draca to make her act this way. Initially, I thought it might be because Draca had told her about using her as his source of energy, but there was no way for me to know for sure, as Draca suddenly disappeared from my head for those few days.
• I rubbed my hands as I paced around the dining hall, hoping that she would appear. I had ordered Romeo to bring her here so we could have dinner together. Despite everything going on and Angelica still being at large, I wanted her to feel loved and forget everything that had happened in the past few weeks.
