• I stood up for the umpteenth time pacing around while waiting for any sign of Lorena to appear from the forest. I wanted her to return so badly that I couldn’t stop thinking about her. If she were to return, it would mean that she would become my concubine but at the same time, I blamed myself for letting her go when I knew that she could be attacked.
