• “Begin your journey from here,’’ one out of the five guards accompanying us announced as we reached the entrance of the forest. The forest surrounded the arena but I knew that it was going to be deeper than I believed it to be.
• ‘’Alright,’’ we all responded as we were given a tag each. Since the future Luna queen and I had the same color, they each gave us a purple tag with our names imprinted on it. Unlike mine which only have my name, Angelica’s name had a crown beside it and I envied her the more. She was lucky to be recognized as the future Luna while I have to fight for position with other girls.
