Chapter 14 A Warning

• I watched her from behind as her hips swayed from left to right. She slowly limped towards the car acting strong whereas she wasn't. After spending three days in the hospital, Lorena was discharged from the hospital. While we walked towards the car, I offered to help her but all I got was. " I can go on my own!" She had yelled at me.
• I raised my hands in defeat and watched as she forcefully walked towards the car limping on one foot. It was sad to watch her like that but there was nothing that I could do at that moment because she refused my help. It wasn't my fault.
