Chapter 95 The Bathroom Door Swings Open
- Logan stared at her soaked face, looking as if she had just surfaced from the depths. Even her lashes glistened with droplets, and her hair dripped with foamy bits of shampoo. Her eyes sparkled like waterlogged black grapes, full of innocence and a silent plea, as she looked up at him.
- She seemed to be in mid-shower when the water cut off, prompting her to seek his help. Logan moved aside, letting her in. Madeline dashed to the guest bedroom's bathroom, shut the door, and restarted the shower. Warm water cascaded immediately, gently splashing against her body. Madeline sighed in relief, rinsing her hair one more time.
- She was quick to finish up. Knowing it was Logan's place, she didn’t want to linger around. Madeline turned off the water, dried herself, and started putting on her pajamas. She had come prepared, bringing her own clean pajamas and towel, determined not to use anything belonging to Logan.
