Chapter 9 Spend Another Night With Him To Offset
- Dressed in a sleek black suit, Logan stood tall and straight with a lean and composed figure outside the door, exuding a strong sense of abstinence.
- With his hands in his pockets, he casually glanced at George and the woman beneath him. Furrowing his brows slightly, he uttered coldly, "What are you doing here causing a commotion?"
- When Madeline heard his voice, she instinctively looked up and met Logan's indifferent gaze. Her heart instantly skipped a beat.
- It's him! Is he George's... uncle?
- George awkwardly put his arm around Madeline's shoulder and grinned nervously, "Nothing. This is my friend. We're just joking around."
- "Your friend?"
- When Logan spat his question, his gaze was seemingly fixed on Madeline's face.
- She had applied makeup that day. Her skin was fair and delicate; her cheeks were slightly flushed; and her lashes were long and curly. Her round, watery eyes were filled with fear, and the rims of her eyes had turned crimson, making her resemble a frightened bunny.
- Madeline anxiously broke free from George's grip, quickly clarifying, "I'm not his girlfriend..."
- "Do I need to spell it out for you, Uncle Logan? It's been a while since I've had some fun. Can't I just invite a classmate over to spend the night? I'll compensate her."
- Before Madeline could finish speaking, George cut her off and led her away, ready to leave.
- He had encountered Logan several times at this club, each time minding their own business. The latter was never one to interfere in other people's affairs.
- Madeline stumbled as he pulled her along, and as they passed by Logan, he suddenly reached out to grab her wrist.
- "Uncle Logan, what are you doing?" George was puzzled by his actions.
- "Leave." Logan only uttered one word.
- "But she..."
- George wanted to defend himself, but a cold glare from Logan made him retreat immediately.
- "If I catch you doing this one more time, I'll have your father break your legs," Logan added in an icy tone.
- This time, George dared not argue, and with a reluctant glance at Madeline, he turned to leave.
- The restroom finally quieted down, leaving only the two of them facing each other.
- Logan lowered his gaze and scanned her outfit—a white shirt, a mini skirt, and a bow tie around her neck. It was the uniform for waitresses who served drinks.
- "I-I'm here to work," Madeline took the initiative to explain. "Thank you for helping me out just now."
- Without another word, Logan walked out of the restroom and leaned against the quiet corridor outside, where they could have a more private place to converse.
- He gestured for her to come closer, and Madeline complied.
- "Short of money again?" he inquired.
- Madeline shook her head. "No."
- "Then why are you doing this?"
- Madeline honestly replied, "To save money."
- Logan was speechless and studied her for a moment.
- "How much do you want to save?" he asked again.
- "7,500."
- Logan gazed at her meaningfully, emotions hidden deep in his eyes.
- He loosened his tie and unbuttoned two buttons to release the tension around his neck before looking up at her.
- "What if you can't manage to do it?"
- "Huh?" Madeline didn't understand his bluntness and looked up at him in confusion.
- "Will you sell your body again? Or your eggs?" Logan's tone carried a hint of mockery with a touch of indescribable coldness evident in his voice.
- Madeline's face flushed suddenly, her ears burning.
- Even she who had a mild temperament couldn't tolerate Logan's sarcasm.
- "I… I didn't do those."
- She felt that he had misunderstood something, and it was necessary to explain clearly.
- In a subdued voice, she uttered, "I want to save up enough to repay you."
- She was quite stubborn in her own way and was only comfortable when she earned money according to her own principles. She requested 7,500, but he gave her 15,000.
- She always believed that this approach was incorrect, hence she wanted to return the extra money.
- Upon hearing this, Logan glanced at her inexplicably, his eyebrows slightly furrowed. Does this college student lack common sense? She must've burned her brain by studying too hard.
- "Must you repay me?" He narrowed his eyes, examining her closely.
- The uniform at the club was designed to fit snugly and accentuate her curves. Her chest was busty, her bum was curvy, her slim waist could easily be cradled by one hand, and her two long legs were slender and straight. On the contrary, her cheeks still retain a hint of baby fat, making her look innocent yet captivating, which quickly reminded him of that night a week ago.
- Nevertheless, Madeline nodded firmly. "Yes, I must repay you."
- Logan lowered his gaze and suddenly drew closer to her and cast his shadow over her. His dark and intense gaze was fixed on her face, his voice deep and husky as he uttered, "Will you spend one more night with me to offset it, then?"
