Chapter 6 No Bed Activities Within a Week
- So, he's a doctor.
- She quickly felt embarrassed and lowered her head, feeling a bit lost.
- On the other hand, Logan looked at her coldly, speaking in a flat tone as if he didn't recognize her at all. "How does it hurt?"
- Madeline sat on the chair, stuttering, "It's a cramping pain. It hurts when I walk or sit."
- "Lie down on the bed and lift up your clothes."
- Logan typed a few lines on the computer, not bothering to look up as he casually gave instructions.
- Madeline swallowed nervously and obediently walked to the bed, lying on the narrow examination bed with the ceiling above her eyes.
- After a while, a man wearing medical rubber gloves walked over. From Madeline's perspective, she could only see his white coat and the name on the badge on his left chest.
- "Gastroenterology, Logan."
- So, his name is Logan.
- Madeline silently remembered this name.
- There was a faint smell of disinfectant on him, which overlapped with the scent from last night, causing her mind to wander.
- The next moment, Logan's hand pressed firmly and accurately on her abdomen, asking, "Does it hurt here?"
- Madeline replied, "Lower."
- Logan moved down two inches. "Here?"
- Madeline blushed and nodded. "Yes."
- His fingers gently pressed against her lower abdomen. Despite wearing gloves, the warmth of his touch seeped through the rubber and into her skin, leaving Madeline breathless.
- Logan pressed a few more points and confirmed the location. After receiving her response, he released her and understood the issue.
- It wasn't a stomach problem but instead menstrual cramps.
- He had been quite demanding of her last night, and she was a virgin. So, it was inevitable that she would feel uncomfortable afterward.
- Logan sat at the desk, typing rhythmically on the keyboard. "I'll prescribe some medication for you. Take it three times a day after meals."
- Madeline blushed as she got off the bed, quickly straightened her clothes, and obediently sat across from him, waiting for him to write the prescription.
- Logan printed the prescription and handed it to her with his slender and distinct hands. After a moment of thought, he suddenly added a sentence unexpectedly.
- "Remember, no strenuous activities in bed for a week."
- Madeline's face turned even redder. She nodded in a daze, taking the prescription and medical card from his hand.
- "Do you understand?" He held her card and asked again.
- She nodded. "I understand."
- "Repeat it."
- "Take the medication after meals three times a day, and avoid strenuous activities in bed for a week."
- Madeline repeated with flushed cheeks, feeling embarrassed by the situation. After all, it was his actions that had led to her current state the night before.
- Apart from being with him, she hadn't had any bed activities.
- "You can leave now."
- Logan leaned back, releasing the medical card and prescription simultaneously.
- Madeline took the papers and hurriedly left.
- The man looked at the computer screen, his superior features showing no emotion and his voice flat and cold.
- "Next."
- Madeline took the prescription and left.
- Outside, she met Jonathan, who was about to enter the clinic. They brushed past each other, and Jonathan glanced at the prescription in her hand, his eyes filled with curiosity.
- Madeline was focused on getting her medicine and quickly left.
- In the consultation room, Jonathan pushed the door open and spoke in a somewhat gossipy tone.
- "Why did the doctor in the digestive department prescribe gynecological medicine to someone?"
- Logan raised his head and glanced at him.
- "Mind your own business."
- Jonathan leaned over the table, his gaze wandering over him, and he noticed a few faint red scratch marks on Logan's exposed forearm.
- His eyes suddenly became meaningful.
- "I am wondering why you didn't drink with me yesterday, turns out you had other plans."
- Logan stared at the computer, his tone flat. "Do you come in here during working hours just to tell me this?"
- Jonathan leaned back with a smile. "The girl who just left, is she your date?"
- "Not really."
- "Oh. So, it was just a one-night stand. I noticed she was walking a bit funny. Did you hurt her while playing?"
- Logan glanced at him. "Do you have nothing better to do?"
- Jonathan laughed. "I can't believe you actually like delicate flowers. I thought you preferred sexy beauties, but it turns out you like these soft and fluffy little white rabbits. Your taste is quite unique."
- Unique?
- Logan couldn't help but think of the scene from last night in bed. Under the harsh light, she was clean from head to toe, fair and slender, with a graceful figure that combined innocence and charm. Her eyes were red, and she made soft noises, easily arousing a man's desire to ravage her.
- Indeed, she was like a little white rabbit begging to be caressed.
- "Let's get to the point," Logan snapped back to reality, too lazy to banter with Jonathan.
- Jonathan became serious and said, "This weekend is Lincoln's birthday. He asked me to inform you that there will be a gathering at the Stary Club."
- "Got it."
- After that, he promptly escorted Jonathan out of the office.
- ...
- Madeline left the hospital and immediately transferred the money to her mother.
- She paused for a moment, deciding to transfer half of it first in case she needed to send more later.
- The recipient accepted the money quickly without saying a word. Even through the screen, she could sense the coldness and impatience on the other end.
- After a brief wait, she sent a WhatsApp message to her brother.
- "Please update me on Dad's surgery results."
- The response was a simple "OK."
- Madeline picked up her medication and took the bus back to school.
- As she approached the dormitory building, she was blocked by a figure. The nonchalant male voice stopped her.
- "Madeline, wait."
- She instinctively took two steps back, keeping a meter's distance from the person in front of her, and watched him cautiously.
- The man before her was George Kins, a senior student in the neighboring finance department. Rumor had it that his family was very wealthy. He was a second-generation rich kid who spent money lavishly and indulged in pleasure, changing girlfriends frequently.
- Madeline had recently attracted his attention.
- "A-Are you looking for me?" Madeline hid the medicine bag behind her back and looked at him warily.
- George gazed at her innocent face, feeling a sudden urge in his heart to seduce her and take her to a hotel for a wild time.
- Playing with such a pure and innocent girl gave him a sense of accomplishment.
- He took a step closer, his handsome face nearing hers. "Heard you went to sell your eggs?"
