They were still too dazed to make sense of anything then, but the both of them immediately let out a loud gasp when they opened the doors and let themselves into the manager’s office. “It’s you!” Neither of them had expected Snowskin Corporation’s manager to be the person who had sent them the stock assignment contract—Kate.
• “We meet again, President Brown.” Kate nodded at them politely, and she wore a smile on her face as she pushed a set of documents toward Alice. “I can’t believe we actually got a chance to work with each other, President Brown. I look forward to working with you.” Kate was just as firm and efficient as before. She had prepared all the documents required, and Ascent Group would officially become Snowskin Corporation’s sole partner once Alice signed the papers.
• “Sign it, Alice.” Melanie couldn’t help but give Alice a nudge when she noticed Alice zoning out at the documents before her. Finally, Alice lowered the documents as she decided that there were a few things she had to clarify first.
