Chapter 100 Spiritual Tea
- A present? Harvey went into the backyard, and Cameron wondered what he was doing, but she still grumbled, “I knew we shouldn’t have come, Grandpa. He’s so rude! As if he has a present. I bet it’s just something he scrambled to put together.” Cameron wasn’t wrong though. Most people would at least prepare a gift a few days in advance even if they couldn’t afford something extravagant. However, Harvey looked like he had the idea spontaneously, so he didn’t look sincere.
- Adrian didn’t mind, so he smiled. “Mr. Smith is no ordinary man, and he dislikes formalities that we’re used to, so it’s understandable. And his gifts are always out of the ordinary.” Ever since he wore the pendant Harvey gave him, Adrian was always refreshed, calm, and collected. Also, his nightmares stopped haunting him. So he knew everything Harvey would give was special.
- Cameron was jealous about the fact that Adrian had such high praise for Harvey. Before he showed up, Adrian had always thought of her as the best among the young gen, but ever since Harvey’s appearance, she’d lost out to him a lot. On top of that, Adrian called Harvey ‘Mr. Smith’ even though he was around her age, much to her annoyance. She couldn’t accept the fact that he was her elder despite them being the same age. Let’s see what you have up your sleeve.
