Chapter 90 Harvey’s Show of Power
- Hayden Winston had been the doorkeeper of the Winston Family for more than ten years, yet it was the first time he had ever encountered a visitor like Harvey. A rather puzzled expression formed on his face when he saw how the greeting card had shot out of Harvey’s fingers and lodged itself right into one of the wooden pillars of the gazebo. Hayden seemed a little more vigilant as he got up to take a look at the greeting card. He let out a scoff when he saw that Adrian was the one who had written it personally.
- “I see. So, you’re from the Peterson Family. You have pretty quick moves.” Hayden walked over to Harvey while he eyed the young visitor. He looks like he’s still in his twenties. It’s rare for someone his age to have such powerful fingers. Despite this, I can’t sense any Chi surrounding his body, so I’m sure he’s not a cultivator. The initial worry that Hayden had felt dissipated once he came to this conclusion. “After you, Mr. Smith.” He gestured for them to walk.
- Both the men stepped past the gazebo. Harvey took a good look at his surroundings as they walked around the compounds. Although the Winstons were part of the top three most powerful families, their home architecture was much simpler than the other two families’. After a short walk, Harvey found himself in front of a door that led to a bright hall. There were two figures inside the building, and one of them was a figure that Harvey recognized—the killer that he had seen in the CCTV footage.
