Chapter 66 Get Ahead Of Ourselves

• As she awoke, Grace stretched like a cat and curled around her pillow, groaning. She slipped further into the silky blankets, feeling the smoothness brush across her naked legs. She sprang up immediately and ripped the covers from her body as the notion had completely registered with her. She looked down with wide eyes and realized she was just wearing her top and boy shorts. Her thoughts began to race as she tried to recollect going into bed, but the last thing she remembered was the first thirty minutes of the movie with William.
• After their incredible kiss, William ordered pizza and they proceeded to talk over wine until their supper arrived. They sat on the sofa together to watch the movie once everything had been cleaned up. She ran her fingers through her hair, urgently trying to remember how she got into bed the night before. Her only conclusion was that William had brought her to bed and undressed her in order to make her feel more at ease. Her cheeks flushed at the prospect of his seeing her naked. She shook her head and bounced out of bed to get ready for the day.
• She switched on the shower in the bathroom and stripped naked to walk under the hot spray. She exhaled and let the heat soothe her strained back muscles. She lathered and washed her hair with shampoo and conditioner, attempting to untangle the knots that had formed while she slept.
