Chapter 31 I Can't Remember

• George followed Grace out to her rental to get her and Liam's baggage not long after they decided to spend the night at the Kain house. George took two bags from the trunk, while Grace took her carry-on bag and Liam's backpack from the back seat. George closed the trunk and gave her a timid grin.
• "You didn't bring much," he pointed out. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
• "I wasn't sure how long we'd be here. Some of our other belongings are with my friends who are traveling here. I assumed we could get anything else we needed elsewhere." She shook her head.
