Chapter 45

• Just as the predator lunged at her, a bodyguard crushed his body forward to knock the man over. Darius acted quickly, grabbing Simone’s arm and forcing her towards the edge of the stage. All the girls were in a panic as the hectic scene unfolded before them. The security team was already rushing them off the stage and into the building.
• Darius turned to the closest guard and said, "Get her out of here."
• Two more guards showed up and urgently escorted her into the building with the rest of the girls. They went up two flights of stairs until they reached an unlocked door leading into an office. Simone made sure Leah was okay before walking towards the blackout curtains. She couldn't just sit there and reel in anticipation. Simone peeled back the heavy fabric and watched with unease as the fight broke through.
