Chapter 8 Never Touch Me Like That Again

• Ethan returns home close to lunchtime, he goes straight to his office and when he enters he is furious to find Katherine inside with a book in her hands and the photo. He roughly pulls her book and throws it on the table with force, Katherine recoils in fear of him and drops the photo on the table.
• "What do you think you're doing? Who authorized you to enter my office? How dare you invade my privacy? Are you crazy?"
• "I was just..."
• Ethan doesn't let her finish her explanation, he is out of control at that moment, he grabs Katherine by the arm and drags her out of the office, she feels pain because he is squeezing her arm tightly, but she endures as she always does.
• "Never enter my office again, you do not have permission. You are a ridiculous woman, I am disgusted by you, I don't want you to touch my things, do you understand?"
• Ethan's rudeness combined with his aggressiveness made Katherine lose her composure, she was exhausted at that moment, so she pushes him to release her arm and yells at him.
• "Never touch me like that again, you hurt me. What kind of man are you? I hate you and I am disgusted by you. I just picked up a book, it didn't need to be like this and I didn't know I couldn't go in there, stay away from me, you are sick."
• For a minute, Ethan is silent with her reaction, he is filled with a mix of emotions, he is glad she finally reacted and filled with anger for her speaking to him in that way, he cannot control his mood and emotions, he punches the wall in response, right next to where Katherine is leaning, she is startled and goes to her room and Ethan follows her, she slams the door in his face and before she can even lock it he enters and stares at her, making her move away from the door.
• "Who do you think you are? How dare you speak to me like that? And slam the door in my face? Are you trying to die? You are so stupid."
• "I ask you the same, who do you think you are? To hurt me like that, I also find you pathetic, an arrogant little man, without manners and without control, you have no right to treat me like this. Stay away from me."
• Ethan turns his back on her, because as much as his hatred is immense at that moment, the idea of her fighting back pleases him and he smiles in response. He controls himself and turns back to her.
• "You don't own anything here, this is my house, you are only here because my grandmother thought it was a good idea for me to marry you, while I couldn't decide, because under no circumstances would I marry such a stupid woman, so ridiculous, like you, so don't you dare talk to me like that, when you don't even have a pot to piss in."
• "Get out of my room, I can't stand you, leave me alone, I can deal with your rudeness, with your insults, but right now I can't even look at your stupid face, I'm nauseous, get out of here now."
• "I'm not going to leave here at all, everything here is mine, if I want, I'll sleep by your side, because you have nothing and belong to me, understand once and for all, apologize to me now, for your behavior and for invading my office."Katherine starts laughing mockingly, she is angry and very stubborn, so she has no intention of apologizing.
• "I'm not going to apologize, you should apologize for hurting me, for squeezing my arm, what kind of man hurts a woman? Men like you can't be called men, it's ridiculous."Nothing matters to her at that moment, she just wants to let out her anger. "Get out of my room, it doesn't matter that this house is yours, I am your wife and as long as I'm here, I have the right to everything that is yours, so get out of here now."
• "Since you insist, I will leave, but you will not be allowed to leave until you apologize for invading my privacy, do you understand?"He watches her without reacting, takes the key to the room, leaves and locks it, Katherine knocks on the door.
• "Open this door Ethan, open it now."
• "You know what you have to do Katherine, I won't open it and I don't care if you die in there, just leave when you do."He walks away with a smile on his lips.
• The employees watch that scene, one of the maids leaves and calls Amélia and tells her what is happening, she immediately goes to the mansion, Katherine kicks the door angrily.
• "Open Ethan, open this door. I want to get out of here."
• "Then apologize."
• "You're out of control, you're sick, you hurt me, apologize."
• "Keep dreaming, you ridiculous woman, I will never apologize, you are in my house and you are wrong, no one told you to enter my office. Don't be stupid."
• "I hate you so much, why did you have to wake up? My life would be much better if I had to be a nurse, but no, you had to ruin everything by opening your eyes."
• "Ask for a divorce Katherine, and you will be free from this miserable life you lead, I will never be good to you, I will torment you every day until you give up. I can't stand you, you are ridiculous, without personality, a puppet in everyone's hands, you embarrass me."
• "I'm sorry for you, I don't care about your words, that's all you have, disdain and rudeness. You mean nothing to me, so your behavior doesn't affect me, you're just a spoiled and out of control man, ask for the divorce yourself, the apology I forgot, grandma doesn't allow it."She says, laughing to provoke him, Ethan leans his head against the door with a huge smile, and his dimples showing, as much as she is insulting him, he likes it, he can't explain it, but these types of behavior attract him.
• "Don't provoke me, Katherine, and do what you have to do. You will never leave here unless you do."Before Katherine can respond, they hear Amélia's voice.
• "Ethan, what is this shouting? What is happening?"
• "What are you doing here, grandma?"
• "I came to see you, dear. "She lies. "What's going on, Ethan?"
• "Nothing is happening, grandma, I'm just talking to Katherine."
• "Liar, open that door Ethan. Let me out of here, have the courage to tell grandma what you're doing."
• "Shut up, Katherine, don't get involved where you weren't called, you ridiculous woman."
• "Ethan, what are you doing, my son, are you keeping your wife locked up? Have you gone crazy?"
• "I'm teaching her a lesson, because this stupid woman invaded my office."
• "Ethan, are you listening to yourself? Did you tell her she couldn't come in?"
• "Do I have to state the obvious? She shouldn't even be here, let alone enter my office."
• "Ethan, for God's sake, open that door, you can't keep a person locked up, stop this madness."
• "I'm not going to open it, until she apologizes, I'll finish off anyone who dares to open that door without my permission, don't get involved in this grandma, didn't you want me to get married? I'm teaching my ridiculous wife, whom you arranged for me, where did this woman come from?"
• "I'm not going to apologize Ethan, you should do it first, you hurt me, my arm still hurts."
• "Ethan, what did you do? Did you hurt her?"
• "I just took her out of my office, this woman who is fragile and stupid. Don't listen to the nonsense she's talking, she'll start crying soon, it's all she knows how to do, I hate this woman."
• "I'm not fragile, you're just a rude, uncontrollable man, open the door Ethan, let me out of here now."
• "Ethan, for God's sake, do you want to kill me? You weren't raised like this, how dare you hurt a woman? What's happening to you? Let Katherine go now and stop this. "Amélia doesn't care about Katherine, but she's defending her for the baby she's carrying, Ethan is very angry at that moment, he stares at the door for several minutes before opening it, when he does, Katherine and he face each other, she's rubbing her arm. He sighs, while watching her motionless.
• "I'm sorry Katherine, for hurting you, this won't happen again. "He looks down as soon as he finishes speaking, Katherine gives a slight smile of satisfaction, she waits for him to look back at her.
• "Thank you, Ethan. I'm sorry for entering your office, I didn't know I couldn't, I won't do it again. "Amélia smiles at that and goes downstairs, leaving them alone.
• "I hate you, you ridiculous woman, get out of my life once and for all."
• "I hate you too, get out of mine, take advantage of grandma being here and ask for a divorce, be a man. "She walks towards her mother's room, leaving Ethan alone with a smile on his lips, he shakes his head and goes to his office.
