Chapter 31 Playing Favorites

• Jane’s smile faltered instantly when she heard that. She sat down and complained, “You know what happened. I went on a blind date yesterday, and my parents rented a hotel room nearby. I ended up spending the night there.”
• Yasmin placed her bowl down and was solemn for a moment before she asked, “Jane, did your parents force you to go on that blind date?”
