So many terrifying things have happened today. Right after dinner, Yasmin dozed off in bed until she began to feel thirsty. Upon getting up for a glass of water, she glanced at her phone and found a text message.
It was from Serena: Are you feeling better, Yasmin? I’m not calling in case you’re sleeping.
After replying to her, Yasmin went through her old classmates’ chat group. For some reason, many old friends—those from elementary school all the way to university—had begun popping up recently. She even had a kindergarten classmates’ chat group.
