Chapter 52

• Things were back to normal; Alexander was off to school, and Giovanni was off to work. Carolyn and I were back to normal; we were both moving on from the fact that she had walked in on Giovanni and my explicit make-out session. The awkwardness between us, mainly from me, was cleared and out of the way, and now we converse freely like we used to.
• It was another week, and Carolyn had gone grocery shopping while I remained at home doing some research. That was until the loud ringing of the doorbell caught my attention.
• I got up from the bed, making my way out of the bedroom and downstairs to the door, staring through the intercom to see it was Vicky before pulling the door open.
