Chapter 20

• It was finally Saturday, and I couldn’t stop the excitement that flowed through my skin. I wore a dark blue jean trouser, pairing it with a white sweatshirt and white sneakers. My hair was straightened and fell to my back with a blue hair pin strapped to the side.
• I gave myself one final look in the mirror, not being able to stop the smile that made its way to my face, before picking up my phone and mini bag. I began skipping my way downstairs, humming softly to myself.
• My step halted at the last flight of the stairs when I caught sight of Giovanni and Alexander. Giovanni was on one knee as he helped Alexander knot his shoelace, and I couldn’t help but be swooned at how amazing they looked.
